The Shadow of Life

I have literally just finished this piece in under an hour. Perhaps I may have poured too much detail into this *bites lower lip*. I've been feeling less than content with my artwork lately. Every time I have gone to draw I have just been so frustrated, and dissapointed with myself. This is the first drawing (since my last submission) that I have felt pleased with. I'm just so pleased that I was able to draw something that I am happy enough with to submit. I have never and will never submit any drawing that would be deemed simply a 'filler'.

For this drawing I used a reference from the talented Vespertine ([link]). His music is fantastic. I simply cannot wait for his album to come out.

Oh, and because there is a heart involved and there is no way I'm going to get my lazy ass to draw before Sunday we'll call this my Valentines drawing. Even though I am hardly a fan of the occassion. Haha!
